Evidence-Based & Individualized Care
The Right Treatment Starts With Understanding the Individual
There is no single treatment approach that is right for everyone.
Treatment at Meridian begins with assessment and continues to evolve as our team learns more about each person’s needs, strengths, challenges, and goals. Treatment planning may consider substance use history, withdrawal risk, physical and mental health, trauma history, previous treatment experiences, family and social supports, living environment, and other factors that may influence recovery.
Our clinical teams use evidence-based treatment approaches that have been studied and shown to support behavioral change and recovery. Depending on individual needs, treatment may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, family-focused interventions, relapse prevention, peer recovery support, medication treatment, and other therapeutic services.
Individualization means more than choosing a therapy. Treatment plans are continually reviewed so care can respond to a person’s progress and changing needs throughout treatment.
