Who Medication Treatment Is For

MOUD may be appropriate for individuals who:

  • Are struggling with opioid use
  • Experience intense cravings or withdrawal symptoms
  • Have a history of relapse
  • Need additional support maintaining recovery
  • Are transitioning from detoxification or residential treatment
  • Have co-occurring mental health concerns alongside substance use

Not every individual requires medication for the treatment of opioid use disorder (MOUD), and recommendations are made based on clinical assessment, medical history, treatment goals, and individual needs.

Our clinical team works closely with each person to determine the most appropriate and effective treatment approach.
