How to Get Started

You do not have to wait until the situation becomes worse to ask for help. Our admissions team can explain available services and help determine the safest next step.

1. Call Meridian Health Services at 248-599-8999 x1. A member of our admissions team will ask confidential questions about current substance use, withdrawal symptoms, health concerns, insurance or funding, and immediate needs.
2. Complete an initial screening. Our team will review the information provided, discuss available options, and explain whether additional medical clearance or coordination with an insurance provider or local access center may be required.
3. Prepare for admission or referral. If Meridian’s program is appropriate and admission is available, our team will explain what to bring and what to expect. If another level of care is needed, we will help identify the safest next step.
