Who Need’s A Driver’s License Evaluation

You may need a Driver’s License Evaluation if:

  • Your license was suspended or revoked due to alcohol- or drug-related driving offenses
  • You are preparing for a Michigan Secretary of State Administrative Hearing Section (AHS) hearing
  • You have multiple DUI/OWI convictions
  • You are seeking full reinstatement or restricted driving privileges


This evaluation is a required step in demonstrating to the Secretary of State that you are safe and eligible to return to driving.
