What to Expect

Entering withdrawal management can feel uncertain. Our goal is to provide the individual with a withdrawal management program where your safety, comfort and dignity are priority.

The process includes:

  • A confidential admissions screening to better understand immediate needs
  • An initial assessment and physical evaluation completed by a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant
  • An individualized withdrawal management and stabilization plan
  • A biopsychosocial evaluation complete by a licensed clinician
  • Ongoing monitoring of symptoms, comfort, and overall wellbeing
  • Medication and supportive care when clinically appropriate
  • A structured, substance-free treatment environment
  • Planning and coordination for continued treatment after stabilization

The length of stay varies because withdrawal symptoms, medical needs, and progress are different for every person. Treatment recommendations are based on ongoing assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Throughout the process, individuals are treated with dignity and encouraged to participate in planning for the next stage of recovery.
