Evidence-Based Therapies

Clinical Approaches That Support Meaningful Change

Therapy provides an opportunity to better understand the thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and experiences that may contribute to substance use.

Meridian incorporates evidence-based therapeutic approaches into treatment based on each client’s clinical needs and individualized treatment plan.

Rather than relying on one therapeutic model for every person, clinicians may draw from multiple approaches to help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional regulation, increase motivation, address relationship patterns, and practice healthier responses to challenges.

Evidence-based therapies offered at Meridian include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Informed Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Therapy.
